Something About Me and My Book:
I am an expert on children's allowances and author of a book that solves a financial problem for today's kids--and their parents--how to manage virtual money--money that can't been seen or touched. My book, "The No-Cash Allowance," was named Most Outstanding Parenting Book by Mom's Choice Awards®.

The concept is unlike other allowance books because it focuses on giving kids practice making decision using real money for both fun and necessary spending starting as young as pre-school. Think of it as a lesson guide for parents.

"The No-Cash Allowance" book can take kids beyond the classroom subject of financial literacy, the knowledge about money. This book helps parents give kids financial competency, the actual skill of managing money because only parents can provide real money for kids to manage.

Knowing how to manage virtual money is an essential survival skill for the next generation. Parents don't want their children to fail with money so the concept of giving children control of money decisions is a big emotional barrier. But managing money is a skill, just like learning to ride a bicycle. Kids cannot master a skill unless they are allowed to have actual control.
