Before becoming an award-winning author of my dark fiction Chupacabra Series, I enjoyed a full-time career as a feature film publicist. Life for me began in 1970 in Los Angeles County thanks to a salesman and a homemaker. Growing up, I dreamed of following my passions for entertainment and storytelling by becoming an actor. Then, while studying theatre arts at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, I realized my penchant for stories were better suited on the page rather than the stage. However, creating tales with suspense, laughter, and heart is not my only love. I also enjoy volunteering in my local community for Meals on Wheels, as well as aid in the capture/spay/neuter/release feral program.
Currently, my publications include the first two Chupacabra Series novels, “Night of the Chupacabra” (2014 National Indie Excellence Award Winner - Horror) and "Curse of the Chupacabra." My first publication, “The Night After Christmas,” is a holiday picture book for believers of any age. In 2014, I will publish two new works of fiction: "Legend of the Chupacabra" (Chupacabra Series #3) and "The Ghost of Christmas Past," a spiritual journey centering around the Ghost's afterlife, and life, while aiding a woman's complicated past.
