Something About Me and My Book:
"Tiny Angel" is a children's book geared to the 8 - 12 year olds. Macy Carver moves to a new town only to be tormented by the class bully because she's smart, overweight and wears glasses. With the help of her guardian angel, Macy learns to accept herself, gain confidence and make true friends.

I hold an AA degree in Visual Art and a BA degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in writing. In addition, I am a certified editor and reviewer for ReaderToReader.com and New York Journal of Books.

Thanks, Nancy! Bullying seems to be a big focus issue right now. I've seen quite a few programs about it in some of the schools. Maybe you can center on that and give a speech? That might work for you.

Welcome, Nancy!

Wow. Tiny Angel sounds just like me when I was growing up. You hit the nail right on the head with this one!
