Resilience; a pioneering book by Nicolaas Engelbertus (PhBA Senpei Sho)

The difference between what we do and who we are is defined by our roles in life. Roles are part of our mixed bag of identities. For example roles like; ‘Work title’, ‘parent’, ‘hobby’ and ‘spouse’. For most of us this defines who we are as our deeds makes the person.

Roles have one common characteristic; they change as their environment changes. When something changes in the business or the organisation, your work role is affected. The most striking example is the role of a parent where the age and development of the child dictates how one assumes this role. When we are too identified with our roles we become the slaves of change instead of being 'respond-able'.

The Is-ness Role Model provides an anthropological development method which provides clarity on our roles and connects us to our natural sense of self. It is a 7-Step system that equips us to deal with stress and adversities effectively. The system provides a powerful Relationship model that teaches us what 'to do' to get the best out of being and working with other people. It completes the experiential learning journey with a step by step guide to transform our thinking into ‘positive - just do it’ fuel for our actions.

Resilience; the Is-ness 7 Step Role Model Book is Available from autumn 2011 on Amazon.com & Amazon.co.uk (email now@is-ness.org stating "Please notify me" and we will send you the link when it becomes available).
