II was born in Finland and I studied mathematics and computer sciences at the University in Helsinki, Finland. For thirty-eight years I worked globally in IT, games and mobile communications business, mostly in Finland, U.S.A and Japan.
During my business career I had a dream to write books. This dream came into reality late 2010 when my first book was published.
Year 2015 opened and will continue with new Children’s books. Third volume of the charming and engaging “Lucy The Cat” series is called “Lucy The Cat Play With Me”. English version will be published in February and Finnish and Bilingual Japanese - English versions later during the Spring.
New stories about Lucy The Cat are in process and planned to be published later in 2015.
2014 has been the year of Children's books. My 2 first illustrated Children's books in English were published in February ("Lucy The Cat") and April ("God's Children"). Both are available as paperback in Amazon, Barnes& Noble and other web stores and as Kindle e-book in Amazon stores.
Lucy The Cat was published in Finnish in April 2014 and it is called "Lucy-Kissa, Lucy The Cat". Bilingual Japanese – English version, called Lucy The Cat Bilingual Japanese - English” was published in October 2014.
The Lucy The Cat series continued and the second book “Lucy The Cat: Little Brother” was published in September, 2014. The Finnish version “Lucy-kissa ja pikkuveli” was published in November and bilingual Japanese-English version “Lucy The Cat and Little Brother Bilingual Japanese - English” in December as paperback and in January 2015 as e-book.
My fascinating, illustrated fairy tale book "Kissa Kiiskinen sankarina ja muita satuja" was published in March, 2014. So far it is available only in Finnish, but hopefully some day translated also in English.
My 3 first books, published in 2010-2012, belong to Christian genre and are available only in Finnish.
As an author my main influences are classical writers like Leo Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevsky and Jane Austin, but I love also J. K. Rowling, and The Holy Bible always influences me.
My main sources of inspiration are my 4 lovely grand children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the charming, cute Sacred Birman cat. You guessed, she is Lucy The Cat. And of course the world events have their impact in life and sometimes also in writing.
My favorite hobbies are music, reading, movies, photography and traveling.
