Something About Me and My Book:: Just a Word - Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's, just a word and nothing more. It can not take away the love that one has for another. It can only take away if you let it. If you look beyond the disease and see the 'real' person in side the body, it can bring you knowledge that you never had before. It can bring you your Self. It can lead you to know why you where put on earth.

From 'Just a Word' --Alzheimer's.

I see terror on her face and it reminds me of my panic attacks. I stay close to her, letting her know she’s not alone. I’ll always be there for her. I’m no doctor, but I know what she feels, I’m living with her 24/7. She’s never out of sight.
