Before returning to the Lowcountry of South Carolina, I worked with in the creative field of Broadway, film, and television in New York City for over twenty years. In South Carolina, I have worked in the non-profit sector as a marketing director and grant writer. My recent publications include a short story in the University of Texas literary journal, RiverSedge, and an essay in the 2010 book, Beaufort Through the Ages. I have studied writing at The New School, and with Sue Monk Kidd, Ron Rash and Judy Goldman.
