Something About Me and My Book:: I have worked as an animator, on pictures such as: Spirit -Stallion of the Cimarron, and Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights.

I am currently running a small production and design company, Blue Leviathan Productions LLC, and am working with a set of software developers to produce the Armageddon Online Collectible Card Game, which ties intimately with the novels.

I have produced a large amount of art for this fantasy world, and intend to use this to help set it aside from the traditional.

I am a very visual person, so I’m usually first inspired by art. I was an animator before I returned to the corporate rat-race, and as I’ve mentioned, I have been an artist since I could hold a pencil. What’s inspired so much of my love for fantasy has been primarily console RPGs. Games like – well, pretty much anything made by Squaresoft – Final Fantasy (specifically Hideo Minaba’s designs), Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and all kinds of others. I don’t get a chance to play many of these games anymore, but I glance through art on these games, and am also inspired by these games.

The first book in the Armageddon series: The Battle of Darkening Skies, is a straight forward introduction to the world of Caball. On this planet, said to lie closest to the Heavens, miracles and magic become more commonplace. Turim Gliderlance, a half-elven Knight of the Hawk, is sent on mandatory leave. There discovers a plot by the black division of the evil Dragon Army, to make an attack on his own country. The first book's plot revolves around his dangerous race home to warn his order of the imminent attack, and on the allies he gathers along the way, including: a ninja, a dwarf, a half-ogre, a halfling summoner, and a brilliant female engineer.

Some of the other things that inspire me are listening to special features or commentary on movies and TV series. Lord of the Rings has some amazingly inspiring special features, describing the entire lifecycle of Tolkein’s writing and how it worked its way into what it is today. I’m also a big fan of Avatar the Last Airbender, The Office, Lost, Justice League, Star Wars, and Joss Whedon’s Angel. There’s lots of other stuff too, but these are the big ones I can think of.
