At some point in Tim's childhood, he was abducted by aliens and sent on a voyage of knowledge and discovery across the universe. As an adult, persistent memories of new worlds, dragons and other creatures desperately tried to break out, so he began writing. He has successfully infiltrated the humans and hides behind the façade known as a family. He learns from his children, but is regularly told to stop acting like a child by his wife. Naturally shy and unsociable by nature, he prefers to be around old books, bonsai and art. He likes to catch up with old acquaintances on Tatooine, Westeros, and Middle Earth. Tim's galactic mission is to translate his brain activity into a language that inspires and entertains you, transports you to different worlds and grants you an audience with the characters you have dreamt about, but never dared to remember. All of this in an attempt to redeem himself with his childhood alien abductors and travel the stars once more.
Thanks for getting back to me. I hope you had an enjoyable holiday and got to go to someplace exotic with the family.
I did enjoy your first book in The Moon Stealers series and will be having my girlfriend get book 2 on her Kindle shortly. I posted my review of your book about a week and a half ago. I think maybe I will put it up again so that it appears at the top of the list before we do the Q&A in the forum section of this site.
Perhaps before we get to that you can put your avatar up on your page. I followed your link to your site and it is very impressive looking. Here, on The Book Marketing Network they make it fairly user friendly to customize your own page. They also have different groups you can join and you can add friends onto your page.
Okay, well let me know when you have had a chance to do that and then I will post my review of your book again. Shortly after that would be a good point in which to start the Q&A forum. You are welcome to befriend my friends on this site as I have already mentioned you and your book to them.
I hope you had an enjoyable Christmas. Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I am almost finished with book 1 of The Moon Stealers. I am really enjoying the read. It kind of reminds me a little of some of the earlier Harry Potter novels, though there is an urban fantasy novel by Mike Shevdon entitled 61 Nails that has some similar elements. I am also reminded of the end of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, where one of King Arthur's Knights was left to protect the Holy Grail.
So, my intention is to post my next blog after completing your book. My blog is called What I Am Reading and I give a brief review of whatever it is that I am currently reading or have just finished reading. I have also been mentioning you and your book to others on this site, so I hope you will get some book sales out of it.
They have a forum section on this site and I was wondering if you would be interested us using that medium to do a Q&A about your book? I could post it in kind of an interview format and you could reply back. Then, others that follow the forum could get involved and post their own questions to you.
Just wanted to let you know that my girlfriend bought your book last night from my laptop. However, she forgot to bring her Kindle to the cabin this weekend, so I will have to wait until she returns with it on Christmas Eve. I am excited to finish Book 1 of The Moon Stealers!
I visited your site and read the first three chapters of Book 1 of The Moon Stealers. So far I have enjoyed it. Traditionally, I have been a paperback novel reader. However, my girlfriend has both the Nook and Kindle. I might have to have her purchase the rest of your book so I can learn more about these mysterious beings that have abducted (or done worse to) Peter Crisp.
Thank you for your well-written and interesting literature. Just out of curiosity, do you receive much feedback from this site? I have recently joined and as I worked my way down the member list, your page caught my eye due to your write up referencing everything from Star Wars to Lord of the Rings. I am glad I stumbled across your name and that I had a chance to sample some of your work. I look forward to reading more.
