Food for Thought

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer, and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month--or what we know today as the honeymoon. Interesting stuff. :)

The Meaning of Friendships: Are They Important to You?

All of us have people who influence how our world stays on or off course. There are moms and dads, girlfriends and boyfriends, husbands and wives, sisters and brothers, and daughters and sons. I’m sure you can come up with a number of other people to add to that list. For the sake of this discussion, let’s talk about our friends.
