2012 Sci Fi Author to attend Philly Convention

PRLog (Press Release) – Nov 09, 2010 – Lawrence Johnson Sr. and daughter Lauren will
attend the 74rd anniversary of the Philadelphia Science Fiction Society
to promote their ever expanding Escape 2 Earth Series. The venue for
this year’s Philadelphia Science Fiction Convention will be the Crown
Plaza Hotel located in Cherry Hill November 19th - 21st. 2010

This year's convention will showcase the talents of Peter S. Beagle as the Principal Speaker, Mitchell Bentley the Artist Guest of Honor,
and Jeff Mach the Fan Guest of Honor. Last year Mr. Johnson
participated on the Buck Rodgers panel, he also enjoyed various other
panels such as the Doctor Who and True Blood panels.

Both authors agreed that the highlight of last year's event was the opportunity to meet and converse with New York Times Bestselling author
L.A Banks. Since meeting the paranormal author Lauren Johnson has
released several short stories and her own novella, The Visions of
Koto-Ryin. To date, The Thirteenth Floor remains her most popular
short story.

Lauren Johnson speaks of her time with the author of The Vampire Huntress Legends."Meeting Leslie Banks was a great experience because

it is to pursue something that you love while attempting to block out

PSFC will be the first event that both authors will attend since
releasing Return 2 Earth, The Visions of Koto-Ryin and Anthologies of
the Spiral Galaxy, a collection of science fiction short stories
written by Lauren and her Father.

Lawrence Johnson Sr. is the author of the Escape 2 Earth series; he has completed the final novel in the Escape 2 Earth trilogy titled
Earth 2 and is developing a series revolving around the intergalactic
space detective Da’Quan who makes his first appearance in the short
story Planet of Doom. Planet of Doom made it to #16 in Amazon.com’s
top 100 Kindle bestsellers in October.
