4RV is not self-publishing, but a traditional publisher. We accept returns and give discounts, using Ingram and Baker and Taylor as distributors. The distributors, with the discounts the PH gives and returns, get books into book stores.

To find the submission guidelines for 4RV, go to the Services page on http://4rvpublishingllc.com

We can do publishing packages, but we'd rather go the traditional route.

That link that directs you to the page of my book, and thank you for showing me how, as stupid as this may sound, where would I put that? Would I more or less announce that I have a book that is ready to be published and direct them to that particular link? I just thought it had to be published and ready to be bought. I looked up 4RV but couldn't get any guidelines on publishing packages they offer and what service they provide for you, I spoke with a Barnes and Nobles manager and he told me that they do accept self publishing, but just because a PH says they can get you into those stores doesn't mean you will get in there. The Bookstores decide whether they want you or not. The big thing with them is the "return policy".

I'm looking at self publishing companies. Infact I bought a book by Mark Levine on who the good self publishing companies were, It's called "The Fine Print of Self Publishing". It talks about who is good and who isn't. It talks about the mark-ups, the costs to the author and the royalties. It's quite an intersting book. I wish things were a little more simple then it seems to be with publishing. Not that the work isn't worth it, but just trusting who to go with without getting burnt. I have a trusting spirit, and I know I get taken in easily, almost to a fault. Thanks again Elysabeth for taking the time to show someone like me how to make a link. In nursing school, I must have missed that day of class. lol

I sent the company order to Elysabeth, Aidana, so I can't send your copies to you until the next order comes in, hopefully before too long.

The book looks very good, and kids that have seen my one copy like it.
