Inspired by a Song

My book Return to the Heavens was inspired by this song, Never Too Late by Three Days Grace. (None of the real videos will work for some reason, but it’s the song that matters, so I found this.)



A lot of my writing is inspired by music actually. But a spark of an idea hit me when listening to this song, one of deep emotional suffering and needing the one you love so much you would go mad without them. So I took my idea to my writing partner last fall and plotting soon began on our story.

Finally completed and fully illustrated by another friend, a highly talented digital artist, Return to the Heavens was recently released a couple of weeks ago in July 2008 at Passion Tales.

My writing partner is working on her version of this same story, but told from the POV of Tiela, so you’ll get the two sides of the story – his and hers. Like all of our eBooks at Passion Tales, this one too will be fully illustrated.

This story doesn’t end here, however. Quoren and Tiela will have many more stories told, both together and apart, as Q battles his way back to the Light. He'll plunge much deeper into Darkness first though before finding his way back…
