Week's End

Despite the ongoing financial mess, my wories about my retirement fund, my terror about the state of the country and the world, my mood today is much better than it was at the start of the week. What certanly helped was spending a large part of it with family and friends who've done their best to cheer me up, showering me with affection, buying me celebratory meals, making me laugh. Then, too, the election polls have shifted in "my" favor and I'm elated, as it encourages me to believe that, just possibly, soon, we might all be on the road to recovery; and, more selfishly, I'm pleased about the good revews that "The River, By Moonlight" has been getting on this current virtual tour..
