The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Please forgive me for taking so long to come in and introduce myself. My name is Carolanne, I am a new author about to publish my first work with Trimaxx International Publishers, LLC. I have been writing 'forever' but have just recently entered the publishing phase of life. I am working on marketing & promotion of my book and am currently beginning the critical research and implementation of promotions 'outside' of the World Wide Web. I am confident & terrified at the same time....

I also handle Promotions/Marketing & Research for Trimaxx, so I wear more hats than the average author.
I seem to be stuck with a strange enigma that maybe someone can give me some suggestions for...

My first book is a collection of Erotic Literature, I know 'where' to market & promote it (this book will not be marketed to one specific market audience, it is going global, all adults, everywhere)...this is not the problem. My problem is this: I have handled so many other authors work that I find it difficult to do my own, I am finding it difficult to express my work and myself as confidently as I can others. How does one go about breaking the 'shyness of self' conundrum?

Respectfully yours,
~Carolanne D. Grant
