The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Words are forever. And a good story is timeless. I penned my first poem, and short story at 9 years old. Continuous praise for my creativity spurred me on. And to this day I get a rush everytime I finish a piece. I always wanted to see my work published, but wasn't quite sure how to go about doing it. It seemed to be a daunting task, so, being the queen of procrastination that I am, I kept putting off. Always waiting for the "right" time. But, of course, the right time never just magically appears. I had to make it happen.
"The Discombobulated Inner Workings of the Female Mind - My Mental Mayhem" was my diary. The idea of publishing it to the masses was fear inspiring to say the least. Imagine walking into a crowded seminar only to hear the speaker read pages of your diary as their keynote address. How would that make you feel? Thats exactly how I felt about the idea of putting myself, or rather, my mind and heart, in the spotlight.
Once I received notice that my book was published, and I had copies of it show up on my doorstep, I was elated. I felt accomplished, successful, and downright happy!!
I had no idea that this was just the beginning of an endless journey.
