Amazon Contest for Breakthrough Novel.

I just heard that Amazon is hosting a contest seeking the next breakthrough novel. The grand prize winner’s book will be published by Penguin Group. There seems to be quite a few prizes as well for those who don't get the grand prize. Does anyone know about this? The deadline for entries is Nov. 5, and I believe the site said the contest would be limited to 5,000 entries. Comment by Julie Ann Shapiro on October 17, 2007 at 1:54pm: I entered the contest with my second novel. The prizes sound great. Of course winning the lottery is probably easier than this contest.

After I entered it I realized that I left my name on the header and tried to communicate with them about that. I gather from their forum discussion that other authors did the same thing. I never heard from them. I don't know if they'll elimate us right away for this or not.
