vLetter

vLetter is a technology that reproduces your own handwriting as a font to use on your computer. It captures the natural variations in your handwriting to give your letters, cards and other correspondence a unique, personal touch.

However, my interest in this program stems from its fr*ee demos in which you can create graphic icons in a handwriting font to place on your website, including a graphic image of your name in a signature font. I do not advocate putting your actual signature on any public forum, including your website, as you increase the likelihood that someone will swipe that image file and use it to sign documents for you, for which you may be held legally responsible. However, when creating a long sales letter page, entering part of your message as a handwriting font graphic draws the eye to that section of your page.
