For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I'd like to share some news with my friends and members of BMN. Jen Bosveld, the editor of Pudding House Publications, has accepted one of my poems chapbooks for publication. The notice of my book is as follows. TITLE: FLICKA (ROUTINGS ON THE GREEN GRASS). CONCEIT: Flicka, the name of a filly (featured in a popular novel published in the middle of the 20th century), is personified in bouts of erotic depression that carry the poet through his depressive episodes to a resolution of them in mind and emotion. BIO: T.R. Catanzarite has a professional life as a counselor/therapist and community organizer that sustains and inspires his interior life in poetry. The chapbook will be published in 2/3 - 9 months. Thanks for your interest. N.B. John K.---I did not discover Pudding House in the publication "101 Best Independent Presses'" as I mentioned earlier. I believe I discovered Pudding House in Poets & Writers Magazine. But thanks for your encouragement generally. Ted

Heitz - Thanks for your comment. Flicka is a series of poems that comprise a poetry chapbook, and is 23 pages. Pudding House Publications is the premier literary publisher of poems chapbooks. Chapbooks may be in the process of becoming the vehicle for the presenting of new poetry. Depression may be endemic to our society. See: www.puddinghouse.com. Thanks again, Ted

Hi Ted,
Thanks for the invite! Your Flicka story sounds intriguing. Depression has been a life-long family trait so I'm sure I'll find the poem meaningful. I've never been to Pudding House. I'll have to look it up. Continued success with your writing! ... Russ
