Today there are an estimated 500,000 children in foster care in the US. Foster care has become an epidemic, although each state has different organizations working together to address this issue, there is not enough help.
We need emergency shelters built to provide safe havens for abused children when first removed from their homes.
We need qualified foster parents who are willing to take these children into their own homes and provide a stable environment that gives these children a chance at life.
We need aging out group homes to address the thousands of children who become homeless each year when they turn 18 and are released from their foster home with no place to go.
And we need sponsors willing to help raise funds for clothing, school supplies, christmas gifts, prom dresses, etc. T The lists are endless and can be overwhelming to someone who wants to lend a helping hand.
