It's not too late to give your book as a gift

Ah... the holidays are finally here. Shopping is done. Or is it? Is there anyone on your list who would enjoy a copy of your book? Remember that many people have the next week off of work. Some are cuddled up on a couch with their new warm fuzzy slippers, just wishing they had something good to read while sipping their hot cocoa. Others are at an airport, waiting. . . . and waiting. . . hoping that they will finally get onto an airplaine.

Who on your list would like your book this week? It's not to late to drop a copy in the mail to them with a personal note that you thought now may be a nice time for [escape / reflection of the last year / setting goals for 2008.] --depending on what your book topic is.

Who on your list of friends and acquaintences needs your book? If you've written a book on grief, who do you know who is suffering? If your book is in the health/fitness category, what friend do you know who is already counting down the days to her new year's resolutions to get healthy?

And best of all, your book won't be buried in the stacks of leftover wrapping paper and bows. Send it today and it will arrive a few days after Christmas--just about the time people will be thrilled to find something in their mailbox other than all those credit card bills.
