A new project has been started by Patti J. Smith. What do you think?

1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

Black Elk said, “Grown men can learn from very little children, for the hearts of little children are pure.

Therefore, the great Spirit may show to them many things which older people miss.”

As adults, we view our surroundings with muted eyes, not by choice but by design.  We are absorbed with family responsibilities, careers and finances. We are too busy focusing on how we can obtain what we don't have instead of being grateful for what is directly in front of us. We don't have or take the time, to sit back and appreciate the little things.  Those little things make life worthwhile and fill our souls with joy, but if we overlook them the joy starts to disappear. Look back when we were children, how joyful were we?  Everything we saw or experienced brought a sense of wonder and we were grateful for the smallest of treasures.  Wouldn't it be nice to have that back?  Well we can.

365 Days of Gratitude will take us back in time, a time where we cherished what we had, no matter how miniscule.  Let's put aside, if just for awhile, those things we want to accomplish or obtain and remember the little things....because those little things are what will bring us the most joy.

What better way to rekindle our joy than through the innocent words of children.
