A Paper Tiger

We've the timber all over our country

The foreign devils have

the best materials to make the best sails

on this planet.

Why don't we put aside our dear pride

and corporate with these devils

to make the biggest ship on this

lovely earth so that you and I

can sail round the world free of charge?

And pick up many passengers on the way

making plenty of  the green bucks ?

After all, we call them devils

because of our own weakness

Are we sure in their mind they

don't think of us as devils too?

Maybe they are too polite to tell us.

Our government is stifling the electorate

Do you have an informed citizenry made up of members

who understand their rights and responsibilities?

How do we survive and thrive in a tough economy?

We face psychological issues,

Environmental problems are horrendous

Nature has great  impact on human health

Wilderness, forests, and pathland

Are benefitial to us, not

economic corruption and political thuggery

The ulterior motive is to hold back the progress of others

This is sadistic, and inhuman crime

Why do we manipulate water samples to hide industrial solvent,  

Falsified samples concealing the presence

and the actual levels of contaminants?
