When Rowdy goes lame, Texas Ranger Tim Bannon's partner Bob Newton continues after the gang they are chasing alone, against Tim's advice. Newton gets ambushed and killed by the gang, who then continue on to their next intended target, the bank in Junction. The gang believes it will be an easy target. However, there is an elderly man in town, who has his own ideas about what to do with a gang of thieves and murderers.

The saga continues...

“That blasted Ranger’s still doggin’ our tracks, Dan,” my partner Ed Thornton informed me, after checking our back trail. “We haven’t been able to shake him.”

“Well then, I guess we’d better do somethin’ about him, Ed,” I answered. “You want to handle that?”

“You know I do,” Ed answered, grinning in anticipation. The man was a natural-born killer. “We won’t see him again; count on it.”

“All right. Fall back and get rid of that Ranger. I’m comin’ with you, just in case you need a backup. Rest of you keep ridin’. We’ll catch up with you.”

“Never have needed help killin’ a man yet, Dan,” Ed objected.

“I know, Ed, but this outfit always plays it safe. You know that.”
