The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Hey Everyone! Great News...You may have overlooked about Amazon.com

Amazon.com is a huge organization that attracts big-time publishers who are looking for new talent. To that end, Amazon.com will allow self-published authors/publishers to upload into the CAP program to attract Publishers and or large organizations who are searching for writing talent.

Today - I uploaded my new title: "The Love He Saved."

The objective of this program is to give the small press publisher and or author a chance to sell to a major player. The content below was copied directly from the CAP program. I hope this information will be useful to you.

Content Acquisition Program (CAP)

CAP connects media companies searching for new talent with the thousands of Advantage vendors selling their products on Amazon. As an Advantage vendor and a holder of rights for books, music, or movies, you can select which titles you want in the CAP program and we will include those titles in interactive reports viewed by acquisition editors of media companies, including industry-leading publishers, labels, and studios. (Learn more about CAP.)
If you are interested in getting your title(s) noticed by a media company, this program is for you.

To get started, simply click the 'Add a Title' button below. You will be guided through the enrollment process. We will ask you to provide the following information for each of the titles you choose to enroll:

* Contact information to pass on to interested parties.
* The geographies in which you are interested in selling rights
* The formats in which you are interested in selling rights
* Information about how you are supporting your titles with marketing initiatives whether with Amazon or independently

In order to participate in CAP, you must have the right to "license" or "sublicense" the rights in the work. If you are the content owner of the work and haven't granted exclusive rights to a third party already, you can enroll your title in CAP. Please note: If your rights are for "distribution" only, and you don't hold any copyrights in the work, your title is not eligible for CAP

It's true! I uploaded my title being the writer, publisher and registered owner of my work. Many of us could not be hurt by uploading into the Amazon.com CAP Program. Amazon is a self-publishing friendly company for sure.
