The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I've completed chapter five of the Thrust and thanks to my editor Diane Reynolds I don't have to worry about mispelled words, funky sentences, or any other issues I may have typed up. Writers need their work edited before publishing, we all know the benefits. The question is when do you send your work off to the editor, when its completed or a few chapters at a time? The benefit of working with Diane is that she will accept my first five chapters, edit and return it for my review. I am a constant editor myself and the relief of having Diane edit while I move on with creative writing allows me to not beat myself up over it. I guess its all a matter of finding the editor that works with my personal needs as much as my professional needs.

The plan is to have The Thrust published by late March or early April, looking like early April now since I spent a week ill and in bed. But I'm back to work on it and I'm ready to get my story out there. Diane complained that I left her hanging at Chapter Five, wait till she reads Chapter Six...ah but she won't get that until I've completed Chapter Ten, in any scenario though she will be there for me when I need her to edit, she's a busy lady and it takes days for a return but as we all know it is a neccessary wait. So how about it do you all have an editor you'd love to boast about?
