D T at the Read-In

These are a few images of activity from the Dallas African American Read-In that took place Saturday Jan. 31 at the Majestic Theatre.

Actress Irma P. Hall from Soul Food was one of the celebrity speakers. The featured speaker was Lisa Nichols, one of the teachers of The Secret and author of Chicken Soup for the African American Woman's Soul. Her new book is No Matter What! The video is my participation.

The African American Read-In is a national and international happening. Anyone can hold a local Read-In, the link to the national site with more info is below. This year it is for the entire month of February - please pass this on.
