Handicaps Or Challenges?

Life's journey offers friendship, love, grief, patience, anger, wisdom, hatred, jealousy, greed, lust, success, failure, pride, lack of self esteem, deceit, and the list goes on and on.
Some people are born blind and display no anger or hatred. Instead they have high self esteem, the ability to play instruments, be great singers, politicians or whatever they set their hearts to do. How are they able to do this? Were there parents truly gifted at instilling self-esteem or has God equipped these individuals with a special gift, enabling them to deal with their handicaps?
