A pastor, teacher and author, Emmanuel Ainu comes out with a thoughtful book titled ‘GET OUT OF MY BOAT’. In this book, Ainu outlined most of the causes of difficulties in man’s life which he best referred to as ‘STORMS’. These storms are caused by man himself (or we the human beings). The hunger, poverty, war, corruption, outbreak of sickness and diseases, political conflict, greediness, regional economic hardships, and the likes are the storms caused by man. In this book, you will realise that there are sufferings because of principles man do not follow. As it is stated in the good book ‘the Bible’, ‘whatever a man soweth he reapeth’ simply means you reap what you sow. Galatians 6:7, 9 – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” He wrote the book using Jonah as an example, when Jonah was asked to go to Nineveh and wanted to resist, the boat he boarded to Tarshish the people in the boat or ship did not find it easy as Jonah’s disobedient affected them. When GOD flung a powerful wind over the sea, causing a violent storm that threatened to send the people on board to the bottom, they did their best to find out who may be the cause. Jonah a disobedient prophet was caught and threw out from the boat. The book of Jonah is a four chapter book with the following outlines: • Jonah’s disobedient and the great storm at sea • Jonah’s prayer from the belly of the great fish • Jonah’s trip to Nineveh and the repentance of the people • God’s lesson to Jonah about grace Every problem or challenges in life can be traced to principles found in the Bible. Every person, regardless of culture, family or ethnic background, religion, education, complexion, country of origin, or social status, must either follow these principles or experience the consequences of violating them. This book is a wakeup call to everybody to recognise that laws are made for man and laws do exist because of man. God is principled and justice and He desire His all people to be obedient to Him. The book directs our attention to some important insights for our daily lives:  GOD loves the human race everywhere, and wants everyone to hear the message of His saving grace.  We cannot hide from GOD, for He sees wherever we go and whatever we do.  If we decide not to do what GOD wants us to do, He will judge us.  GOD is always ready to give us a second opportunity to respond to His will for our lives. Pastor Emanuel Ainu’s books are spirit filled and inspirational. I strongly recommend this author for readers, the book industry, professionals and anyone who may like to engage him professionally.
