How to Delete Comments or Friends on The Book Marketing Network

A member of The Book Marketing Network wrote me today asking the following questions:

How can I unsubscribe. I see no way to do that.

You also don't have a way to delete "friends" who simply use the pages of others to promote their books. You should change that.

Actually, you can do both things.

I can't find out right now how to unsubscribe from this network, but I know you can do it. In the meantime, if you no longer want to be part of The Book Marketing Network, just let me know at johnkremer@bookmarket.com and I will delete your profile.

But you shouldn't have to unsubscribe. You can unfriend anyone you want and delete any comments on your profile page.

Here's how to do those two things:

1) To unfriend someone, click on their profile picture. You'll be taken to their profile page. Then simply click on the Remove as Friend link in the left column.

Note that you can also Block Messages from any friend if they start sending you too many messages. Just click on the Block Messages link on their profile page.

2) To delete any comment on your comment wall, simply click on the x at the top right of each comment. That deletes the comment from your profile page.
