In Hibernation

Heartsong Presents, the inspirational romance imprint of Barbour Books, has accepted my query and story synopsis as well as the first three chapters of my novel, Heavincense. Set in present-day California and Washington State, Heavincense tells the story of love lost and found between primary characters Pearl and Kevan Marsten and their enigmatic Christian neighbor, Pete, who's suffered his own personal tragedies. Pete helps the estranged couple as well as their teenage son, Zeb, find forgiveness, grace, and rekindled love. The story presents loss, conflict, conversion and reconciliation with an "all is well" ending consistent with an evangelical Christian worldview.

The Acquistions Editor wants the full manuscript - with another 8,000 words. That's why I'm "hibernating" behind the computer keyboard for the foreseeable future. Wish me luck. Oh yeah - don't forget to send chocolate.
