The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I have attempted to brand myself, The Differently-Abled Writer. With this in mind I had a logo made. I sign all of my correspondence with that as part of my signature. Have you begun to establish your platform? It's never too early to start.
What sets you apart?
How are you different from other writers in your genre?
What characteristics do your books share?
Maybe you write in several genres. What age groups? If they're all written for the same sex, age group or target audience? If you can come up with a signature that works for all of your books that's great.

In my case I use
The Differently-Abled Writer
The Differently-Abled Marketer
The Differently-Abled Children's Author
The Differently-Abled Inspirational Speaker

I can plant Differently-Abled in front of almost any tag line to fit my purpose. Today I received an animation of my logo. My logo illustration is of a blond haired girl in a wheelchair. The Character Studio DOT com took my logo, and animated it to zoom forward, welcome visitors to my website and, encourage them to sign up for free emails and ebooks (this helps to build a prospect list).

My website is not ready to launch yet, but I can't wait to launch it. To see my logo in action look at my February 19, 2010. http://jadaykennedy.blogspot.com/
