Barrett Walcott has stayed in Willow Ridge far longer than he planned. He didn't expect to make so many friends and hates to leave them, but he fears for their safety if he stays. When Barrett thwarts a robbery, the town elects him as their representative to assist Marshal Trace Ingram in bringing justice, but Barrett is determined not to accept the shiny star they offer.

Every decision Barrett makes affects Morning Rain, Amelia, and all those he's come to care about in Willow Ridge. When several threats arise, Barrett must decide who he really is - outlaw or lawman.

Not once in the first twenty-five years of my life did I consider writing a novel. Now I can't keep the story ideas from compiling in my brain! I hope my stories encourage women to look for positive qualities in a life partner, and to foster an environment of real romance, rather than fantasy, as they grow old with that special someone.

I'm now a contributor to three fantastic sites: Moms of Faith, Real Christian Wives, and Under the Cover of Prayer. I'm a member of the Christian Writers Guild as well as the local Alaska Writers Guild, where I've served for 5 years on the conference committee. I currently live in Alaska with my husband, 2 children, 2 boxers, and two cats.
