Jen Cudmore weighs in on "The San Francisco Wedding Planner" series!

Normally I prefer to read (and write) stories with historical settings. But when HHP asked me to consider being part of a contemporary series, I couldn’t pass it up!

Working on a romantic comedy definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it opened up more opportunities as well. Our current culture offers many more options when choosing characters and their quirks, clothing, preferences, homes/jobs, etc.

This set of stories is about Heather Donovan, a young woman who owns a wedding planner business in San Francisco.

I’m working with 5 other fabulous authors on this series.  Each of us chose one character we were in charge of creating.

I chose Bryan, the handsome orthopedic surgeon who quickly begins to fall for Heather. By day I work at an orthopedic clinic, where I handle billing and credentialing. I always thought it would be fun to write a story about a surgeon, so I figured this was my chance! Along with the surgeon, I also get to develop the eccentric Raul, who is Bryan’s younger brother and Heather’s office assistant.

This series has only just begun, and there is much more in store! Check out the first four installments here on Amazon.

And if you missed it, here’s your chance to meet the team! 4 of the 6 authors met for an interview on Blog Talk Radio May 5th!
