John Kremer's Book Marketing Tip of the Day: October 8, 2014

Today's book marketing tip:

This is a subtle tip, but very useful if you don't have the best Wordpress Plugins (Jetpack or Digg Digg or both) for posting social sharing buttons on your blog or web pages.

You can post social sharing links like the ones below that encourage people to share your specific blog posts (or website pages) and the words you want them to share. These links post to Digg, Facebook, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Tumblr, and Twitter.

http://www.facebook.com/share.php?v=4&src=bm&u=http://bookm...

http://reddit.com/submit?url=http://bookmarketingbestsellers.com/se...

http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=http://bookmarketingbestselle...

http://www.tumblr.com/share?v=3&u=http%3A%2F%2Fbookmarketingbes...

http://twitter.com/home?status=Seth%20Godin%20on%20Horizontal%20Boo...

To use these, substitute the words you want to associate with your blog post (generally the title) and the full link for the blog post or web page.

I haven't tested similar links yet for LinkedIn or Google+. If anyone knows the formats for these social networks, let me know and I will share them here.

The Fiverr Factory

Have you ever wondered how you could sell your book via Fiverr? And not for a measly $5 but $10 or $20 or even $97? Well, now you can, if you follow the formula of Fiverr Factory (from my friends John Rhodes and Jay Boyer).

They've figured out how to automate a simple $5 Fiverr gig and turn it into a whole lot more.

You might have thought of Fiverr as simply people dancing in hot dog costumes, singing out of tune birthday greetings, etc. It's a terrible business model. But, again, John and Jay have figured out how to automate the $5 gig so you don't have to do any work at all and still sell something to the buyer -- and pocked $5.

But where the magic happens is when they turn that first automated Fiverr gig into a sales funnel that quickly turns that $5 customer into a $20 book buyer (your book!) and then into a $97 program buyer.

Now, you probably won't get rich on Fiverr, but a few more book sales every week would certainly help most authors' cashflows.

The neat thing is that you can get started in less than 20 minutes selling your information. And you don't need a website, technical coding skills, a ton of time, or a hot dog costume! And John and Jay have found that Fiverr is much easier to set up and generates more sales than Amazon's Kindle.

But their special $9.95 price is only available until October 12 (when the price will go up to $97).

So, check it out and see if it's for you. Click here: http://jvz7.com/c/4960/125263

Their secret sauce makes it easier to monetize Fiverr in a good way much more quickly than anything I've considered before.

Sell away!
