There is a time for everything under the sun and a purpose for every child born into this world,
A purpose that fills the heart of every mother that looks upon her children a purpose for every boy and girl.
A purpose that is in the heart of each mother who looks upon her children and wonder what will my child become? Who will my child be?
I close my eyes and I see a woman in a dim lit room, bible open, television off, tears in her eyes, and holy oil annointed her head as she sits on her knees.
Eyes closed, 8 fingers, 2 thumbs, 2 hands press together, and elbows resting across that pink comforter, late in the midnight hour saying savior hear my cry.
Praying for her children asking God that she may know for certain if her children where to die today that they would have eternal life.
Mama’s tears soak them pillows as children have forgotten to obey their parents now they are stricken with sexually transmitted diseases, gunshot wounds, prison bars, drug addictions and street walking and all Momma can say is Lord save my child.
Mama reads Luke 2:35 as Mary was told that a sword would pierce through her own soul because of her child and Mama has a taste of that now.
Because Momma knows that children bring heartbreak based on the descisions they make good or bad, but momma also knows that heaven is a gift from God.
She knows it can be earned or deserved, she knows that by grace her children will be saved through faith; and not of themselves: but it is the gift of God: unless any man should boast and she knows that the only person that can save her children is almighty God.
Momma lifts her head off of that pillow and she begins to dry her eyes and she looks to the cross and reads that man cannot save himself and that we are sinners but God came down in the flesh to save us.
She reads that all sin and fall short of the glory of God so she begs for mercy on her childrens behalf interceding asking God just to touch her childs heart that her child may know that the only way to heaven is trusting in Jesus Christ alone he will save us.
Her heart is overwhelmed as she understands that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and that Word’s name was Jesus Christ God in the flesh.
She prays that the destiny of her children will be sealed by Jesus Christ that as the scriptures say in Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Momma’s tears look s at the cross and see’s God nailed to a tree, not a perfect shaped cross like we imagine today but two pieces of trees put together, the back of God ripped completely open blood and splinters across his back and she begins to call.
Jesus save my child as she watches the thorns press against his skull blood dripping down his beaten face as they spit opun him and that cross only about 9 feet high was set in the ground meaning Jesus was almost eye level with his onlookers low enough for them to try and put vinegar in his mouth and nail mockeries on top of him imagine being eye level witnessing God take the punishment for everyone.
This mother cried tears as she looked atGod tell his disciple of his earthly mother that this is now your mother and every mother is that mother as every mother must watch her children pick up their own cross and follow Jesus Christ because salvation is for everyone.
The love of God was poured out as his heart broke when they pierced his side and out came blood and water and momma begans to get off her knees and praise God for her children as she sings my redeemer lives.
My soul doth magnify the Lord for salvation is here and she never stops praying for her children to one day mama’s children come to the cross of Jesus Christ and accept his free gift of eternal life and be born again and forever mama’s children shall live.
The heart of every mother should be the heart of every Father to see their child live forever in heaven.

And he spake this parable unto them, saying, What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. –Luke 15:3-7
