The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Dear Fellow authors,

Having just joined your network, I would like to introduce myself.  I have been a writer and artist for 40+  years.  My first book, MIND SONG, was published in 1978 by The Upper Room.  I was asked to write the book to take advantage of my poem, Minnie Remembers, which had been made into a film and awarded a Golden Eagle by CINE.

After a seven-year writer's block during which I began carving carousel horses, I wrote several more books.  Rachel's Daughters, self-published, tells the story of a mother whose first son was murdered in Herod's slaughter of the innocents and her struggle to reconcile with the God she believes betrayed her.  The next five books were a series, eventually titled The Windfallow Chronicles.  I self-published the first three under the title, Angel World Trilolgy, but after realizing they were not in the fairy tale genre but Christian fiction fantasy, I rewrote them.  I have not tried to publish them so far.  Lack of funds, mainly.

The most recent book, SPLINTERS OF LIGHT, is a collection of my best poetry and prose over the last forty years.  Gloria Gaither, who used the Minnie Remembers poem in her concerts and loved Mind Song, wrote a beautiful introduction to it.

Also finished and ready for publication is my autobiography, WITH HEART DIVIDED, a survivor's tale.

XLibris published SPLINTERS OF LIGHT, but their marketing package is extremely expensive and I'm hoping to do some of my own marketing.

I will be glad to promote your books on my three blogs in exchange for your help.
