My dog, my friend!

I am amazed daily at how excited my dog gets at the sight of his leash in my hand. His joy is pure and deliberate, because he knows he's going for a walk. He and I walk the same route almost every day; we change up sometimes in the summer to walk farther. Oh that people were so easily excited by the same old thing. I adopted my dog from the pound since I fell in love with his little face at first sight. Today I am posting a photo of him, for he is truly my favorite friend! If only he could talk! I help him out in that department because I speak for him sometimes.
