     Our lives are in continual flux and with the stresses of life, we succumb to the pressure … forgetting to set aside time for God.  By doing this, we become engulfed in a maelstrom.

     This devotional presents meditations and prayers that will speak to our daily struggles.  We need to remember, God is our safe harbor.  Cultivating a deep-rooted relationship with Him is essential if we are to weather the storm.

I am a married, grandmother of two. I recently retired from a career as a background investigator in order to care for my parents and pursue my passion of writing. I have written poetry since childhood; however, heard the calling to write devotionals.

My life was filled with many challenges, the hardest being a twenty-six year struggle with alcoholism. With the help of Alcoholics Anonymous and a renewed relationship with God I've been sober for sixteen years. In 2006, I converted to Catholicism and it was then I discovered the peace and tranquility of praying the rosary.

I co-lead Rachel's Hope Post-Abortion retreats in San Diego County and am a Regional Coordinator for the Silent No More Awareness Campaign.

Through my devotionals I hope to spread the message to Catholics and non-Catholics of God's endless love, mercy and compassion.
