Patti J. Smith has just released her 1st Devotional - "A Mended Heart"!

Patti J. Smith just released her 1st of what is hoped to be many Devotionals.

She has a very unique voice and her viewpoint is both strong and very caring. If you are looking to try a Devotional, one that has more of a Catholic viewpoint then I suggest Patti’s work.

Here is the Amazon Kindle link; the Devotional is also available at Kobo and Barnes & Noble Nook:

Forgiveness is very important step in our faith journey and also the most difficult. We are affected every day by hurtful events and regardless how grievous the offenses, forgiveness is imperative. We have all been hurt by others, witnessed hurt or caused it ourselves. If we are not open to forgiveness, these hurts will fester and imprison us in a world of hopelessness, grief, resentment and anger which, in turn, distances us from God.

A Mended Heart focuses on forgiveness of family, friends, attitudes and those lost in a world of perversion and crime and addresses those offenses that we have buried deep within our souls; secrets we have protected for years. This devotional offers a way to open up our hearts and ask for God’s mercy on our offenders, which in turn will lighten our life and remove the roadblocks on our journey.

Patti J. Smith is married and a grandmother of two.  She recently retired in order to care for her parents and pursue her passion of writing.  She has written poetry since childhood; however, has heard the calling to write devotionals.

Her life was filled with many challenges, the hardest being a twenty-six year struggle with alcoholism. With the help of a twelve-step program and a renewed relationship with God she has been sober for sixteen years.  In 2006, she decided to convert to her husband's faith of Catholicism.  It was then she discovered the peace and tranquility of praying the rosary.

It is Patti's goal, through her devotionals, to spread the message of God's endless love, mercy and compassion.
