Red Pencil Thursday with a Pre-Pubbed Author

I've sharpened up my red pencil for another online critique. Today, my volunteer is pre-pubbed author Jane Lange. Please come over to add your thoughts about her WIP LOVE'S SOFT SURRENDER.

When I sang professionally, I used to take part in master classes. I'd sing my aria. The acknowledged pro would take my work apart and show me how to improve. Amazingly, they sold tickets to these public baths. On my blog, we have no acknowledged expert. A critique group is only as strong as its weakest link. I may have missed something. Or you may think my observations are all wrong. I know Jane would welcome your comments and so would I.
