Release of Benjamin Cole - A Novel

Benjamin Cole, the debut novel by author Kyle Dickerson, has been officially released.

Benjamin Cole is a fast paced ride through one man's realization that not everything turns out for the better, and that even more often things are rarely as they seem. Setting out to seek justice for the wrongs of the world, Benjamin comes face to face with his most significant trial of all: How do you fight evil, without becoming evil? How do you destroy that which you hate, without becoming it yourself?

Dickerson was born and raised in Central Louisiana, but now calls Middle Tennessee home. He spent the first 19 years of his life in Pineville, LA, where he got his first taste for writing. In 1999, Dickerson moved to Nashville, TN to attend college, and never made it back to Louisiana. He now lives in Spring Hill, TN with his wife, Kasey, and their dog, Katie. Being married little over a year, Dickerson attributes his success in writing to his wife. He says that she began pushing him to write again, and didn't let up until he did. "It was the best thing that could have happened," Dickerson said. Now with one novel under his belt, he is actively working on completing his second one.

Dickerson is also one of 12 authors working on a Worldwide Book Project. The project is amazingly unique in that the author are spread literally across the world...and none of them have ever met. The team consists of members in the US, the UK, Spain, the British Islands, Australia, and Malaysia, and they are using the internet as their medium to complete the project. They have been working since the first of the year, collaborating and writing, and have until December of 2009 to finish the final draft. The team is ahead of schedule and gathering steam. The project is wonderfully amazing, and is teaching the authors involved to look past cultural differences, and look at the people themselves. Hopefully, this will be an example to the world!
