I'm really thrilled that so far,
Requiem for the Ripper has been very well received. today, it picked up its second 5 star review at Amazon.com on its Kindle page and this is what the reviewer had to say:
5.0 out of 5 stars
Perfect Finale,
This review is from: Requiem for the Ripper (Kindle Edition)
Brian L. Porter has wrapped up the Ripper Trilogy in a neat little
package that was impossible to put down. The location of the action,
Skerries Rock an isolated island off the northern coast of Scotland, was
perfect for the fast moving and seamless plot, the characters are
solid, believable and sympathetic. One character, a retired solicitor,
must have required intensive research because it was a remarkably
accurate description of a victim of Severe Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder, but that should come as no surprise since the whole trilogy
was a thoroughly researched piece of work.
This is definitely a book for your bookshelf, but I will warn you
now. Don't read this before bedtime. Start it on a day you can
dedicate to reading, because once you get past the third page, you're
not going anywhere.
