S.L. Schmitz "Mina's Daughter...The Harker Chronicles Volume Two"

There are times I am totally enthralled by a read; this is one of them. I really enjoy the rich content, the descriptive ability S.L. Schmitz possesses and the prose are just outstanding. Vampires, werewolves, Steampunk, and the foibles of a young women’s life have never read so well to me. Just so you know, this is a digital short story series. There have been two installments thus far. The Steampunk end of it has been very intriguing and has really drawn me into the series. S.L. Schmitz’s take on the paranormal stuff is a bit unique and she has added a nice twist and bent to things that have really made the series fresh.

I am going venture to say that if you drop the coin on this series and give it try you are going to agree with me, and have some fun. The other thing you are going to do is be ready for the next installment. S.L. Schmitz says they are going to be ready for release each and every 15th of the month. Dare to be a bit different. Find out why so many bloggers are high on this series; have some fun.

Here is the synopsis:

“In this second installment of the cliffhanger series “Mina's Daughter: The Harker Chronicles”, Katie receives a note from a man claiming to be the grandson of Professor Abraham Van Helsing. She invites the handsome and mysterious Wolfgang Van Helsing to a supper party, only to find out that he was born and raised in New Orleans and has never met his famous vampire-slaying grandfather. Van Helsing admits that he has come to London to meet the daughters of John Harker, Arthur Godalming, and John Seward, and hints that there may be a horrible creature stalking Katie. When Dr. Seward arrives home early and interrupts the supper party, Van Helsing urgently requests to meet with the doctor regarding a particular family member who is currently residing in the insane asylum. STAY TUNED for the next installment launching November 15, 2011”
