BIOS


STEVE DALANCHINSKY
Steve Dalachinsky was born in Brooklyn. He is active in the poetry, music, art and music scene. His books include A Superintendent’s Eyes (Hozomeen Press 2000), his PEN Award Winning book The Final Nite & Other Poems: Complete Notes From A Charles Gayle Notebook 1987-2006 (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2006) and Logos and Language, co-authored with pianist Matthew Shipp (RogueArt 2008) and Reaching Into The Unknown, a collaboration with French photographer Jacques Bisceglia (RogueArt 2009)


BRUCE WEBER
Bruce Weber is the author of five published books of poetry, including the recent The Break-up of My First Marriage (Rogue Scholars Press, 2009). By day, Bruce is Senior Curator at the National Academy Museum, and splits his time between his homes in New York City and Saugerties, New York.

ZOE ARTEMIS
Zoe Artemis, native New Yorker, dance artist, writer, teacher, and political junkie. She started the first tribal style belly dance troupe in NY, in l995. Zoe will perform three dance pieces. For more info about Zoe and her classes, go www.zoeartemis.com.


APRIL MIGNON JONES
April Mignon Jones, Grandmother of four, has hosted Stains, Sams Soul Food Restaurant Open Mic, Rythymnthebronx Television show various venues in NYC and has featured at Starks, Nightingales, Otto’s Shrunken Head, Green Pavilion and The Bar East and many others. She has a Bachelors Degree in the Arts, She Published A Faa Real Experience in 2008. She is also a Playwright and Director presently Hosting a blogtalkradio show on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. and Hosting Events with the Brownsville Civic Association in Brownsville working on a new play to be performed soon.
