Welcome to my new blog which will give you information on my current book "The Pond" and other books that will be published in the near future.

Many people ask me how I came up with the idea for "The Pond"

Chapter One The answer is that the first chapter of the book is based upon a true event that happened in Kimberton, Pennsylvania in the 1950's. My mother lived on a farm there. She told me the story about a neighboring boy and his tragic walk home after his mother dropped him off to play at a friend's house. The boy was turned away by a maid, who then told the child to go home.
How could someone turn away a small boy when his mother had already driven away? Bothered, I thought about if for a while and came up with "The Pond" though the remainder of the book is entirely fictional - my version of what could have happened that tragic winter's day.
