The Positively Quit! Manual - The Thinking Person's Guide to Smoking Cessation

I'm publishing The Positively Quit! Manual in March 2010. It's a concise, quick read (only 64 pages) that provides only the essentials smokers need to quit smoking for good.

Positively Quit is for the thinking smoker who wants to quit smoking. I've found that those smokers who are inclined to be rational, who are comfortable with the facts and ideas presented in the Manual and who are intent on quitting are generally successful at quitting with Positively Quit. On the other hand, those who seem to rely more on their emotions and who are ambivalent about quitting (perhaps because of their strong feelings about smoking) tend to respond relatively poorly.

In a nutshell, the Positively Quit Manual:
- Provides a new perspective of why most smokers find quitting so difficult.
- Helps would-be quitters overcome insecurity and self-doubt.
- Teaches effective techniques and practices that enable you to stay off cigarettes for good.
- Explains why ex-smokers suddenly pick up smoking again weeks or months after quitting and shows you how to avoid this trap.

Positively Quit was featured and well received on the Today newspaper and NewsRadio 93.8FM. One of my clients described Positively Quit best:

“The programme alters the way the reader perceives his smoking habit. This causes a complete shift in his thinking/habitual patterns. The exercises are a break from conventional methods used to break smoking habits, and equipped me with the tools to better handle the urges when I stopped smoking."
