Among the oldest newspapers in the United States, The Savannah Tribune has joined many other periodicals around the globe in its double celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan 19, 2009) and President Inauguration Day (Jan 20, 2009). The newspaper allowed me to participate in the grand celebration by publishing my inauguration tribute poem, There upon a Bough of Hope and Audacity.
