If you own any type of business, you are always looking to grow your revenues and profits. Often, business owners spend a lot of time, and money, and energy working to make their companies more profitable.  Sadly, many business owners don’t have the right strategies that are proven to actually increase their revenues and profits.  They waste a lot of time, money, and other resources.

Imagine your business doubling or tripling its revenues and profits.  How does that make you feel?  What will happen in your business and your life as a result of the increase in revenue and profits?  Maybe with more income, you can take a major vacation or pay for private school or buy a new home… maybe you can have less stress, work fewer hours, spend more time working out and being more present with your family, or attending church or serving your community.

My passion, as a business consultant and Chief Heartrepreneur™, is to help business owners turbocharge their revenue and their profits and to also show them how to actually working less and enjoy their lives more.  

There are many ways to get your revenues and profits increased.  I focus only on the ways that are authentic and that align with who you are in the world of business and that work with your own internal guidance system.  I mentor my clients, who are business owners, just like you, to grow their businesses using reverse marketing and reverse selling and I share with them 300 low and no cost ways to market that drive their prospects right to them.  Reverse marketing is the process of having ideal prospects come to you. Ideal prospects call you, fill out contact forms on your website, they come to your place of business, and they then ask to buy your products and services.  This is very different than traditional sales and marketing which has a lot of cost, takes a lot of time and then has you pushing, manipulating, overcoming objections, marketing AT people and selling TO people.

The Turbocharge Formula

Step One - Ideal Customers

The first step in the formula is to know exactly who your ideal customer really is.  Often, business owners tell me they know this and when I ask them to describe this customer the picture isn’t clear.  I want you to have an exact customer in mind.  Maybe one you have already had purchase your products or services or one that you really want to have as a customer.  Get clear what about them is ideal.  They are the ONLY customers you want to attract with reverse marketing.  If you aren’t very clear you will attract less than ideal prospects and then you either will have a lot of non-buyers taking up your time or you will have buyers who have complaints or cause problems.

Action:

Write down every specific characteristic of your ideal customer.  Include every small detail you can think of and what makes them perfect.

Step Two:  Location

Think about where your ideal customers are hanging out.  Are they watching YouTube Videos, are they members of clubs or organizations, do they read certain magazines or journals, do they attend specific conferences or conventions?  

Action: 

Write a list of all the things they do, places they go, media that engage with, and people they hang out with.  Make certain you include on-line and off-line activities.

Step Three:  Biggest Benefit

Make certain you are clear on the number one thing that keeps your ideal customers up at night. What is the result they want to achieve?  The goal they want to accomplish or the problem they want to solve.  People make purchases that are based on solving their biggest problem or attaining their biggest goal.  How does what you are selling do that for your ideal customers?

Action:

Don’t guess what the biggest problems or goals are.  Go and ask at least 5 prior customers and if you are new in business and don’t have 5 customers, go do a survey of prospects on Facebook, or with www.surveymonkey.com or with Google Forms.  Be certain you have identified the biggest problem or results.

Step Four: Core Unique Positioning Statement

Create a Core Unique Positioning Statement.  This is a statement that tells in one short sentence how you are the one and ONLY company who can solve this specific problem for this specific audience.  If you can add a guarantee, even better.  This is not your unique selling proposition or elevator pitch.  This is a statement used in reverse marketing to bring ideal customers to you.

Action:

Write your Core Unique Positioning Statement following this formula:  

I am/we are the ONLY (now state what you do - example: health and wellness company)

that helps (now state who your ideal target customer is - example: women who have trouble sleeping)

to (now state the obstacle they will overcome or goal they will achieve - example: quickly fall and stay asleep with all natural ingredients)

(and if possible end with the word guaranteed).

Putting this together a Core Unique Positioning for this company would be:  We are the ONLY health and wellness company that helps women who have trouble sleeping to quickly fall and stay asleep with all natural ingredients - guaranteed.  

Step Five:  Magnetize

Now, you get this statement out there using the list from action step number two.  You might use Facebook ads, attend networking events, have a booth at a conference, etc. This statement works to magnetize your ideal customers right to you.

Action: 

Create a list of your top five places to begin sharing your Core Unique Positioning Statement. In addition, use this statement on your email signature file, letterhead, business cards, social media profiles, website, blogs, etc.  This is how you integrate this statement into your marketing.

Step Six: Free Sample

Make it easy for people to contact you after they hear this statement because if it resonates you want to give them a free sample or free trial - no strings attached.  You might have them get a free demonstration, free sample, free audio, free book, free session, free trial size package, etc.

Action:

Decide what you will give away for your free, no strings attached sample and offer it everywhere you can, both on-line and off-line.

Step Seven:  Offer

When your ideal customers take you up on the free samples you simply offer them your products or services that can benefit them.  You don’t need to convince them, sell them, manipulate them or overcome objections.  

Action:

Your reverse sale sounds like this:  

How did you like the free massage?  Of course, that is only a taste of how we can de-stress you and aid your body to get healthier while your mind gets calmer.  Would you like to have a longer massage and experience our full service?

No Need To Sell - Ever Again

With this formula you have attracted only ideal customers using low and no cost marketing and brought them right to you, using reverse marketing.  Once they are identified you have provided them a free taste of your products or services and now all you do is ask them if they want more of your products and services.  If they say ‘yes’, great.  you have a sale.  If they say ‘no’, great.  You gave a sample away and nothing more.

The turbocharge formula does bring more ideal customers while greatly reducing your time, energy, financial expense and marketing frustrations.  The formula also allows sales to happen naturally and authentically and uses heart-to-heart, conscious and authentic selling.  This is how to increase your revenues and profits in the 21st century!  I call this being a Heartrepreneur™ - a business owner who does business with integrity, marketing and selling with heart.
