Wake Up and Smell the Reign!

ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1, AMP)


This is your season to reign, to rule, to walk in dominion and authority in every area of your life! God has destined us to reign in life. He has given us the tools necessary to accomplish our goals, live our dreams and to reign in every area of our lives.

I know that you have goals that you wish to achieve that you may be currently working on. If you are not in pursuit of accomplishing any goals, dreams or aspirations, something is wrong. Some personal evaluations need to be made. What are you doing with your time that is helping you to become a better person next year than you are this year?

You may say, "I don't have the time, money, or the energy to do anything besides work and raise my children!" Believe me I know how it feels to be busy and wish it were more hours in a day. I am a single parent of a 12 year old! I'm in a relationship, I'm an RN, I own 3 businesses and now I have entered a whole new world called the "literary world." I also know how it feels when it seems like you don't have enough money. That's not an excuse either. I started my first business with $100, in a small corner of my 650 square foot apartment. After years of making excuses of why I couldn't do it, I learned how to trust God and let Him show me that all things are possible to those who believe! So stop making excuses! Get to it! God is waiting on you! You will have so much peace and fulfillment when you do!

My new adventure, was writing my book! My newest adventure, is marketing the book! I wished I would have taken a PR/marketing class before I published the book. I didn't know that marketing comes before publishing but now I am paying for it. I finally got a PR coach, Pam Perry, she is the best! When she began to tell me just some of the things that I needed to do I wanted to cry and say "forget this man, this is too much, I already have too much on my plate!" I reminded myself that God is the one who told me to write this book, and that all of the tools I need to see it through to the end will be provided for me if I do my part. I can't do anything about what I did or didn't do yesterday, so I let it go. You can't move forward if you are busy minding the past. I had to forgive myself for not doing thorough research about the PR/marketing process and move on! I had to arise, to change my position, not so much physically but mentally. Sometimes you can become overwhelmed when you realize what is involved in accomplishing your goals. If it was easy, everyone would be rich. If it was easy, everyone would have successful relationships. If it was easy, everyone would be at their goal weight. If it was easy, every one would be walking in their purpose. If it was easy, every author would have a bestseller! God didn't say it was easy, He said it was possible through Christ! Anything worth having will take work, if it didn't, you wouldn't appreciate it when you got it!

So as I began to incorporate the principles that I've written in my book, and utilize the goal sheet that I created for accomplishing my goal to successfully market my book! I see God's Glory which is His manifested presence on the process. God is giving me unprecedented favor because I choose to trust Him instead of giving up! I'm trying to tell you God is waiting to manifest His Glory in your life as you pursue the goals, dreams and aspirations that He gave you! Arise, change your position, change your mind, and change your life!
